SRMPD

Description: SR and MPD are Multi-threaded Paralled Distributed langugages. SR has a Pascal-like syntax, MPD has a C-like syntax. They make use of "virtual machines" (address spaces). Main use appears to be to make mathematical programs.
These languages run on UNIX machines, and I assume will run under the Cygwin environment. I haven't tested that yet, though.

History: Source code is available. These are products of a non-profit university.

Applications: I haven't found any real applications yet, I suspect this is another research language.
